Its with sad news that we report to you that yesterday morning we discovered our Good Samaritan Donation Truck had been deliberately damaged. The gas line has been cut, and so our truck will be out of commission for some time until we can repair it. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
We as a non profit, view this as an (expensive) set back but when bad things happen, we continue on because we are motivated by our mission to help people, without counting the cost. We believe we are doing good in the community and the spirit of good will always overcome hate, spite and vindictiveness. It is this fact that keeps us from being discouraged, and keeps us pressing on to serve our Helena Community.
Truck Campaign Goals
If we raise $500 we can repair the gas line and have the truck up and running in a matter of weeks
If we raise $2,000 we can do all the above and make more long awaited repairs to the truck that will make it more efficient ( tommy gate, body repair, transmission repair)
If we raise $8,000 we can update and implement a security system where the truck is parked, to prevent vandalism like this from happening in the future (this is not the first time its happened!) and buy a shed to protect our forklift, which is also vulnerable.
Thank you for your support and if you would like to donate to get our truck back up and running soon, you can donate online with this link or in store. Any help would be greatly appreciated and together we can get our truck back on the road!
