At Good Samaritan Ministries, we believe everyone who walks in our door is treated with kindness and respect. Part of that respect and dignity means having a safe, clean, comfortable environment
And so, we are turning to the community in the form of a building campaign to raise the necessary funds for our renovations.
Because of the building’s excessive needs, our campaign will replace the 2018 Fashion Show Fundraiser.
The building is in desperate need of major repairs to keep it updated, safe, comfortable and efficient. Originally the Gibson building, much of the same structure and fixtures remain are outdated. Without repairs and in some cases, replacements, we will not be able to continue our level of services.
Sometimes for our clients our store is the only safe respite from the cold. Sometimes it is a place they can go and not be bothered or told to move along, but instead find a helping hand and a welcoming ear.
And so we are reaching out to the community to help us with our facility in a community wide building campaign.
We decided it is prudent, so as not to overwhelm our loyal donors with multiple requests this summer and fall, to make this our necessary fundraising focus. With an updated building we will be able to provide optimal services to the Helena Community and the clients we serve.
The Fashion Show will be back, bigger and better than ever in 2019.
As a donor you have a choice to what fund your donation dollars go, but we ask you to consider the building fund for 2018. We appreciate the community’s support on our Fashion Show and we hope to invest the community just as much in your Good Samaritan Building.
